| Movie Night in Downtown Valparaiso Movie lovers of all ages will enjoy watching some of their favorite films while experiencing the great outdoors. Starting in 2009, residents will be able to experience movie night in the new Valparaiso downtown city park, called "Central Park", which will be located at the corner of Lafayette Street and Indiana Avenue. The park will also host several other events, including noontime concerts, water features, outdoor performances, and winter holiday lighting displays. Farmers Market Valparaiso's Farmers Market has been a mainstay of downtown Valparaiso for decades. Open Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays from June through October, shoppers can browse through a wide selection of items offered by local growers, from bedding plants and flowers in May, vegetables throughout summer into early fall, and outdoor decorations in October. The Farmers Market is located downtown at the corner of Lafayette and Indiana streets in the city parking lot next to Greek's Pizza (new location) and just east of the Porter County Administrative Building. You can have discussions with other members / neighbors. You can give your opinion and suggestions for the subdivision and the common areas.
